Former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart resurfaced Monday from underneath Stephen Colbert’s desk.

Appearing on “The Late Show,” Stewart pulled up a chair next to Colbert to take on President Donald Trump and the media.

Stewart joked that he missed his old hosting gig, now living on a farm where “I spend the whole day yelling about Trump to the animals.”

He then broke down two of Trump’s most frequent false claims: that he had the biggest electoral victory since Ronald Reagan and that the murder rate is the highest in 45 years.

“He’s lying on purpose,” Stewart alleged, also questioning Trump’s insistence that he is “the least anti-Semitic person you’ve ever seen.”

However, Stewart then turned to address members of the press who complain about how Trump treats them with a lengthy analogy to a relationship breakup.

“Stop your whining,” he said, telling reporters that “it’s time to get your groove back.”

After obsessing over Trump’s every move throughout the campaign, Stewart said the president’s rejection of the press offers them “an amazing opportunity for self-reflection and improvement.”

“Take up a hobby,” he suggested. “I recommend journalism.”
