John Legend, Kelly Clarkson remaking 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- John Legend and Kelly Clarkson are updating the Christmas classic song "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Legend teamed up with Natasha Rothwell from HBO's "Insecure" to update the lyrics for a more sensitive narrative.

The song came under fire during the #METOO movement, some said the song ignored the importance of consent in a relationship.

Legend said he has reworked some of those lyrics and will release the song on his upcoming album titled "A Legendary Christmas," which is set to be released on November 8th.
