Joe Exotic asks Donald Trump Jr. for federal pardon

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Joseph Maldonado-Passage, widely known as Joe Exotic, is now asking Donald Trump Jr. for a federal pardon.

In a series of letters posted to Maldonado-Passage's personal Facebook page on Friday, the ex-G.W. Zoo owner addressed Donald Trump, Jr., asking Trump to meet with Maldonado-Passage's attorneys.

In the letter, Maldonado-Passage writes, "If your father can find it in your heart to see what millions around the world saw and that is I'm innocent, and grant me a pardon".

Maldonado-Passage also addressed a letter to his supporters, fans and loved ones.

As well as a letter to Attorney General William Barr.

Maldonado-Passage is currently serving 22 years for two counts of murder-for-hire and more than a dozen other crimes.
