I screamed my way through Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights

I just got back from Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood and boy are my lungs exhausted from screaming!

Seriously, there were so many scares packed into nine different houses with a mix of old and new favorites.

The “Terrifier” house was the main attraction this year, with Art the Clown as the belle of the ball, dominating not only his house, but the park as well. He had a tendency to pop up unexpectedly, like the silly little murder clown he is, and his house was just as gory and stomach-turning as the movies he stars in.

Another new addition were houses inspired by “Fallout” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” Fans will get a kick out of seeing the irradiate ghouls in “Fallout,” including THE Ghoul himself, Walton Goggins’ character from the show decked out in Western gear.

As for the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” gang, they really bring unexpected fear by going from cute and cuddly animatronics to killer robots in the blink of an eye.

Two classic movies also got some love this year, with both “Poltergeist” and the “Friday the 13th” film series getting their own special houses.

The “Poltergeist” house lovingly recreated the nightmare-inducing scenes from the original, while “Friday the 13th” covered every era of Jason Voorhees, from his pre-hockey masking origins, to his machete-wielding glory.

A standout was the return of “Monstrous,” a completely original house based on South American and Mexican folktales, with its own creepy story and monsters you want to actually learn about more later (if it won’t keep you up at night in terror!).

The theme park’s annual Halloween event begins all the way back in September and goes up until November 2nd.

If you go, make sure to warm up your vocal cords, because you’ll be screaming the whole way through!
