WASHINGTON (SBG) – Hulu has launched a feature that lets you have virtual move nights with your friends while hunkered down because of the coronavirus.

The streaming service is testing a "Watch Party" feature where up to eight people can connect over a long distance and tune in to their favorite shows and movies together.

Hulu says to participate, you must have a "No Ads" subscription or a "No Ads + Live TV" subscription, along with a supported web browser. Those specifications can be viewed here.

Invitees will need a special link sent out by the host to join the party, and it's important to note that only select movies and shows from the streaming library are available! Look for the "Watch Party" icon when browsing.
