Zachery Ty Bryan has been arraigned on charges he violated his probation, following his latest arrest.

The former “Home Improvement” star entered a denial on the charges that he had violated the terms of his probation from a past domestic violence charge, per records obtained by People. Bryan has a hearing date on the probation charge.

He was initially denied bail when he was arrested last month and given an “end of sentence date” for Wednesday, December 3, and he was transferred to Lane County Community Corrections on a “detainer,” where he is still in custody, according to the outlet.

Bryan was arrested November 29 in Eugene, Oregon, after allegedly violating his probation tied to a past domestic violence conviction earlier this year.

His fiancé, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was also arrested on the same day. She faces charges of driving under the influence, three counts of reckless endangerment, and one count of attempted first-degree assault.

In a press release, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said, “At some point Bryan got out of the pickup truck and began walking on Big Fall Creek Road. Cartwright then attempted to run over Bryan, crashing the truck with the children inside, into the ditch.”

He was able to get out of the way and no injuries were reported. Both adults were interviewed and deputies say they were both impaired and that Bryan was not supposed to be in contact with Cartwright based on a previous court order.

Bryan’s previous domestic violence conviction involved Cartwright, with whom he shares three children, per People.

This latest arrest is Bryan’s sixth in five years. He first was arrested in 2020 after a drunken dispute, according to TMZ. He was convicted of menacing and was on probation when he was arrested a second time, on charges of fourth-degree assault and third-degree robbery.

The 44-year-old was also arrested twice in 2024 on charges of driving under the influence.
