WASHINGTON (KUTV) — June officially brings us summer, warmer weather and an expanding variety of outdoor options as we make our way through the coronavirus shutdown and reemerge a little more thankful for the small things. Still, there will be late nights to spend watching television. To that end, here's a look at what is coming to Netflix in June, 2020.

There's a healthy mix of new content and catalog titles. There's the return of "Queer Eye," the final seasons of "Fuller House" and "13 Reasons Why" andWill Ferrell in a Eurovision spoof (I'd actually prefer the insanity of the real thing). Here are a few other titles that caught my attention.

The Disaster Artist

You really haven't experienced Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" unless you've watched it with a live audience. It doesn't make the film any better, but it at least makes the experience a little more enjoyable. However, James Franco's film "The Disaster Artist," a film based on the making of "The Room," is a highly amusing comedy that manages to give depth and a sense of humanity to its characters without lampooning them. West Side Story

With a new version coming from Steven Spielberg, it's a fantastic time to sit down with the 1961 version of "West Side Story," an urban musical that takes on the Shakespearean star-crossed lovers trope that finds members of rival street gangs falling in love. (Avail. 6/1/20)

Lady Bird

Greta Gerwig's coming-of-age drama "Lady Bird" stars Saoirse Ronan as Christine McPherson, a Catholic high school senior intent on rising above the monotony of suburbia. While not nearly as approachable as "Eighth Grade," "Lady Bird" was a critical and financial success as it merged art house aesthetics with the expected teenage tropes. (Avail. 6/3/20)

Spelling the Dream

All I know is that the documentary "Spellbound" is the most suspenseful film ever made (with "Free Solo" coming in second) and I suspect that "Spelling the Dream" will be equally nerve racking as four children look to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee. (Avail. 6/3/20)

Before I Fall

Zoey Deutch stars in "Before I Fall" as Samantha Kingston, a teen, who must relive February 12th over and over again until she discovers to appreciate the life and the people around her. I saw "Before I Fall" when it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and ended up getting to chat with Deutch about the film a few days later. I liked the film far more than I expected to. (Avail. 6/8/20)

Lenox Hill

"Lenox Hill" is a documentary that follows the lives of four doctors on and off the clock. (Avail. 6/10/20)

Da 5 Bloods

Spike Lee directs this drama about a group of African-American Veterans who return to Vietnam to find their Squad Leader's remains. Avail. 6/12/20

Crazy Delicious

I like to zone out with the occasional cooking series and it appears that British import "Crazy Delicious" takes place in a magical forest. It's just absurd enough to work. (Avail. 6/24/20)

Home Game

"Home Game" is a documentary about regional sports. The description mentions roller derby in Texas and something called voodoo wrestling in the Congo. Voodoo wrestling. Who doesn't want to watch a program that explores voodoo wrestling? (Avail. 6/26/20)
