Godzilla Charizard: Pokémon's newest game has fans buzzing over new character versions

WASHINGTON (SBG) — The Pokémon Company has released a trailer for its newest Nintendo Switch roleplay game “Sword & Shield,” revealing new “Gigantamax” characters.

The character transformations, however, were met with mixed reviews.

The characters being upgraded include Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Butterfree,and Meowth. Some Gigantamax characters are only available if users purchased the previous game “Pokémon: Let’s Go." Othercharacters will be made available for a short time after the games Nov. 15 release.
