First lady Dr. Jill Biden featured on the cover of Vogue magazine

WASHINGTON (SBG) — Expect to see First lady Dr. Jill Biden on the cover of Vogue.

Biden, 70, will grace the cover of the magazine in August. In one photo captured by photographer Annie Leibovitz, Biden leans on a White House balcony railing overlooking the South Lawn.

The photoshoot accompanies an interview with FLOTUS where she discusses the many initiatives she wants to tackle during her husband Joe Biden's presidency.

She added that she feels her husband's "calm demeanor" has helped shift the mood of the nation since he took office.

Readers can grab a copy of the issue when it goes on sale July 20. Except for former first lady Melania Trump, who was never featured on the cover, first ladies have graced the pages (or cover) of Vogue magazine for decades now.
