Dave Chappelle rushes to comfort Kanye West amid mental breakdown

WASHINGTON (SBG) - We could all use a real friend like Dave Chappelle, who rushed to his friend's side in his time of need.

Monday evening, July 20th, Kanye sent out a series of concerning and now deleted tweets where he called out his wife and mother-in-law, Kris Jenner. “Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor,” he tweeted. “If I get locked up like Mandela Ya’ll will know why.”

During his tirade, Kanye also talked about Shia LaBeouf being a model for Yeezy sneaker line, Anna Winters, compared his life to Jordan Peele's movie "Get Out", and more. “Everybody knows the movie get out is about me,” Ye tweeted.

The next day, Dave Chappelle visited Kanye West at his ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Tuesday, July 21st, after seeing his friend go through what would seem to be a meltdown. Kanye posted a video on Twitter with the stand-up comedian and longtime friend as they posed for a group photo.


“Thank you Dave for hopping on a jet to come see me doing well,” Kanye tweeted. “Dave you are a god send and a true friend. All love.”

In the video, Kanye tells Dave that the world needs some joy and asks him to say something to make him smile.

As fans grow more and more concerned about Kanye West's mental health, but it appears his friends are supporting him in his time of need.
