Sunday night blaze tears through house of celebrity cook Rachael Ray

LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. (WRGB) — The Warren County Sheriff's Officeconfirms there is a fire at a house on Chuckwagon Trail in Lake Luzerne which belongs to celebrity cook and television personality Rachael Ray.

In video sent to WRGB's newsroom, the roof was engulfed in flames.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Ray and family members were home at the time of the fire, but escaped without injury.

On Monday, officials say that the fire was contained t o the roof, and that water had to be trucked in from a nearby pond.

When asked, officials say the kitchen was not damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but is not believed to be suspicious, according to investigators.
