NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Country star Trisha Yearwood unveiled her latest business venture Thursday. The GRAMMY Award-winning singer now has a pet collection with items like collars, leashes, washable bedding, natural dog treats and chews.
Yearwood is a proud rescue mom to Emmy and Millie, who serve as the primary inspiration for the line.
“I have always rescued dogs,” says Trisha. “I am that girl who will pull over on the side of the road and try to pick up an animal if they don’t have a collar on. I think animals know. They think, ‘Oh yeah this girl’s a sucker. We got her.’ So, it just seemed natural to me to be in this world because it’s something that means a lot to me.”
The Trisha Yearwood Pet Collection is available on Chewy.com, Amazon, Lowes.com, Atwood Ranch and Home and Wayfair.
The pet collection isn’t Yearwood’s first step away from the country stage. She’s also a chef appearing on the Food Network series Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, an author of three New York Times-bestselling cookbooks, and an entrepreneur behind cookware, furniture and home accessories lines.
