Country music singer Luke Combs is promising to rectify the situation after a woman was sued by the star for selling tumblers on Amazon with his face on them.

In a video posted to X early Wednesday, Combs says he was “completely and utterly unaware” of the lawsuit, adding his management team hires a company who goes after large corporations that run illegal businesses and profit from the sale of counterfeit t-shirts and other similar merchandise. Combs says the fan who was sued over the tumblers never should have gotten “wrapped into that.”

“That makes me absolutely sick to my stomach,” Combs said.

The country music superstar says he got in touch with the fan directly so he can make things right.

“She told me she was absolutely shocked by this – I’m so apologetic. Talking to her, it makes me sick, honestly, that this would happen – especially with the holidays. I can’t imagine being in her shoes.”

As a result of the lawsuit, the woman told Combs she has $5,500 “locked up” in her Amazon account.

“I’m going to double that —send her $11,000 today just so she doesn’t have anything to worry about. She was never supposed to be involved in anything like this. No fan should ever have to be involved in anything like this.”

Combs says he plans to make his own tumblers available for purchase and give all proceeds to this woman and her family.

“Hopefully that can help her out. Again, this is unbelievable. I was completely shocked when I saw this [news report] this morning. It makes me sick. This is not something that I would ever do. This is not the kind of person I am. I’m not greedy in any way, shape or form. Money is the last thing on my mind.”

The country stars says he also invited the fan and her family to see a live show this year so he can “give her a hug” and apologize in person.
