Welcome to the month when we finally get "Stranger Things 3." Nothing else really matters, right? Actually, I am also excited to see other Netflix Originals like "3Below: Tales of Arcadia: Part 2," "Cities of Last Things" and "The Red Sea Diving Resort." Still, "Stranger Things 3" and more "Stranger Things 3" please.

Here are a few catalog titles also coming to Netflix in July that caught my eye:

"The Book of Eli"

In 2010 the Hughes brothers ("Menace II Society") teamed with Denzel Washington to bring this post-apocalyptic western to the big screen. The story sees Washington star as Eli, a man traveling across the wastelands of America to deliver a book to those who know how to keep and protect it. Screenwriter Gary Whitta has suggested he'll be doing a watch party on Twitter to celebrate the film's arrival on Netflix.

"Frozen River"

Melissa Leo stars in the Oscar-nominated "Frozen River," a film about a woman desperate for money who agrees to help traffic illegal immigrants from Canada across the frozen St. Lawrence River

"Megamind"

Featuring the vocal talents of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, David Cross and Brad Pitt, "Megamind" tells the story of a legendary supervillain who looses his purpose in life when he defeats his nemesis Metro Man.

"Taxi Driver"

Martin Scorsese's psychological thriller "Taxi Driver" stars Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle , a mentally unhinged Vietnam vet, who works nights as a taxi driver in New York City. Disgusted by the world that surrounds him, Travis becomes infatuated with a presidential campaign volunteer and looks to free a young runaway who has been forced in to prostitution.

"The Iron Lady"

Meryl Streep stars as Margaret Thatcher in"The Iron Lady" a film that explores the future Prime Minister of the United Kingdom's formative and early political years. It's not entirely accurate, but Streep's performance is fantastic. (Arriving 7/6/19)

"Disney's Mary Poppins Returns"

"Mary Poppins Returns" is a strange film in that it offers a better narrative than the original film, but doesn't come close to matching the songwriting of Richard and Robert Sherman. Emily Blunt is quite good as the title character and Lin-ManuelMiranda is amiable as a cockney lamplighter. Maybe Miranda should have had more input when it come to the songs themselves. (Arriving 7/9/19)

"Disney's The Princess and the Frog"

Released in 2009, "The Princess and the Frog" never quite received the reception it deserved. From the New Orleans setting, Randy Newman's jazz-infused songs, a bit of voodoo and inspiration culled from E. D. Baker's "The Frog Princess" (a spin on the Brother's Grimm tale "The Frog Prince") the film oozes the wonder and magic of turn-of-the-century Louisiana. Were it not for Pixar's "Up," which arguably was the best film of 2009, "The Princess and the Frog" would have likely won the Oscar for Best Animated Film. (Arriving 7/16/19)
