Celine Dion announces 24 new dates for Las Vegas show

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A new set of 24 dates has been added to Celine Dion's Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace.

Caesars cited ongoing ticket demand for the new dates that run from October through January 2019. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, June 8, at noon.

Dion has performed more than 1,000 shows since March 2003 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, according to a press release.

Several shows in March and April had to be canceled, however, due to a medical issue.

She recently released a new single, "Ashes," for the R-rated superhero sequel "Deadpool 2."

The dates for the additional shows are:

• October 2018: 30, 31
• November 2018: 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17
• December 2018: 28, 29, 31
• January 2019: 2, 4, 5, 8, 11, 15, 16, 19, 20

Tickets start at $51, plus taxes and fees. They can be purchased at TheColosseum.com or Ticketmaster.com, or at the Caesars Palace Box Office.
