New "Harry Potter" audiobook cast revealed -- Meet the voices behind the magic

Potterheads get excited! There are new "Harry Potter" audiobooks on the way and it’s a made up of a magical cast.
Pottermore Publishing and Audible, Inc. are joining forces to bring fans of the Wizarding World “Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions,” which includes an “immersive” audio version of the original seven books set to release later this year. The audiobook for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone" is the first book in the series to launch, starting Nov. 4, 2025, with monthly consecutive drops to follow.
The cast consists of over 200 performers bringing back to life the beloved series in a fresh new way. The big question: Who will voice the iconic characters?
Most notable, Hugh Laurie, who voices Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, and Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall. The narrator for all seven books is Cush Jumbo (“The Good Fight”).

There are currently “Harry Potter’ audiobooks available on Audible if you’re itching to get your Hogwartians fix. After the new audiobooks release, the original single-voice English “Harry Potter” versions, first published in 1999, will still be available and labeled as “classic editions.
