Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby to appear on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

Capitals stars Alex Ovechkin and Braden Holtby will appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night.

The telecast of the show begins at 11:35 p.m. ET.

Ovechkin and Holtby’s scheduled appearance on the show comes just days after the Capitals won the Stanley Cup for the first time on Thursday night, beating the expansion Vegas Golden Knights in five games.

Ovechkin won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs after registering 15 goals and 12 assists during the postseason. He’s the second Russian-born player to win the award as well as the fourth plyaer born outside North America to win it.

Holtby went 16-7 with a 2.16 goals-against average, .922 save percentage and two shutouts in the playoffs.
