Adele pays tribute to Dolly Parton, transforms into country star

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - Superstar Adele is paying tribute to one of country music's favorites, Dolly Parton.

The "Hello" singer transformed into Parton and posted photos on social media Tuesday morning. Adele donned a blonde, curly wig, adding some country flair with her pink-toned outfit and had a guitar in tow.

The Instagram post read, "The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I'll always love you x"

The star must have gotten Parton's attention, as she posted in the comments, "And I will always love you!" quoting the song that's been a mega hit for Parton and Whitney Houston, who recorded it for the 1992 blockbuster "The Bodyguard."

The next day, Dolly sent a message of her own.
