LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Get ready player one, the group behind the Atari inspired -- and officially licensed -- hotels has released the first renderings of what to expect when the "mothership" lands in Las Vegas.

GSD Group, partnered with Gensler, an architecture and design firm, have unveiled a first look at what these Atari hotels are going to look like.

The new hotels promise to "pay homage to the history of video games, modern technology, and esports culture," according to a press release.

“Like Atari’s legacy in innovation, Atari Hotels is infusing synthetic reality into every aspect of the hotel, creating an immersive hospitality and gaming experience for our guests,” said Shelly Murphy, Managing Partner, GSD Group. “From our virtual interactive world to the physical locations, every element of Atari Hotels will offer a unique and authentic experience for everyone.”

The project is still in early phases but the first two hotels will open in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Phoenix, Arizona, with more to come in Austin, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle. The Las Vegas location will have onsite gambling.

With a look straight out of "Bladerunner," these hotels are bound to attract gamers and cyberpunk fans from everywhere.

No word on where or when groundbreaking will happen for the Atari Hotels here in Las Vegas.
