Country sensation Morgan Wallen announced Thursday that his very own Nashville honky tonk will be opening this summer.

The singer's bar will be called "This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen." It will be located on lower Broadway's 4th Avenue, adjacent to the historic Ryman Auditorium. It will open Memorial Day weekend.

The six-story, live music venue will be a bar and restaurant in one. The space is about 30,000 square feet and features three live music stages, six bars and an open-air rooftop.

The restaurant will feature a menu curated by Wallen himself alongsideChef Tomasz Wosiak, Vice President of Culinary Development for TC Restaurant Group. The menu will include southern delights, bar bites, Tennessee favorites and even his mama's own recipes.

In addition to his Mama's sentimental touch, the bar will show crucial elements that shaped Wallen’s life, with each level displaying photos and memorabilia from his childhood as well as some of his most notable performances to date.

“I sing about finding myself in ‘this bar’ and now it’s coming to life," said Wallen. "This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music. We’re designing a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope This Bar is a place you’ll want to find yourself in and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”

The venue will also have a gift shop with exclusive Morgan Wallen merchandise offerings and even an homage to his favorite Tennessee team.

Fans are looking forward to the new bar and are already planning a trip back to Nashville.

"You can't knock him. He's a great artist and I love that he's doing something good for the city," said tourist from Michigan Miriana Parsons.

"We're coming back and then wait for it to get finished, because it looks like he's got a lot going on over there. That building looks phenomenal," said tourist from Texas Jamie Sausser.

The announcement was made via social media under the accounts of Morgan Wallen and his new honky tonk. The new bar will be located at107th 4th Ave. North. More details on this exciting news can be found here.
