A content creator turned her world Upside Down and transformed her living room into the “Stranger Things” paradise of any fan’s dreams.

Julie Sousa shared the progress of her DIY project on Instagram, creating storm clouds out of led strip lights and spray painted polyfill.

She also added the signature wallpapered wall with the Christmas lights and the alphabet, made iconic in the first season as Joyce (Winona Ryder) tried to communicate with her son Will (Noah Schanpp) in the Upside Down.

Sousa framed out her TV in wood for a vintage 80s feel and added a textured wall design to mimic the vines of the Upside Down, home to the many monsters from the show.

The project took her about three days, but the clouds proved to be the trickiest part.

“We had the shape and knew we had to spray-paint it on the ground since I can’t paint inside my house,” Sousa told People. “But every time we moved the polyfill, the white would start showing through again, basically undoing all the work we’d just put in.”

And while it looks quick and easy in the video, she faced her share of setbacks.

“I try not to give up 'cause this is how far I've come, how much time I've already devoted at this point, so if I don't keep experimenting, it's just gonna be more time wasted than if I were to,” she told the outlet.

Sousa said the “Stranger Things” set up cost around $280 to do, which she says would be about the same for someone starting from scratch. She does have a backlog of materials she repurposes and reuses, so some of the other elaborate projects she’s done only cost $20 to $30.
